Abstract:

The combination of flat cut boards and three-dimensional structures printed on them promises advantages with regard to the production of complex devices and products. Unfortunately, there are still neither models nor characteristic values with regard to the design of the components. On the basis of a hinge of PLA and TPU printed on laser-cut circuit boards, a FEM model for the design of a hybrid component will be shown and the parameters relevant for the description will be presented and examination methods for determining meaningful characteristic values will be determined.
