Description

Simulation methodology offers the industry a variety of possibilities to improve processes both in terms of quality and time efficiency. Virtual models play an important role here. Just as important as the data input for these models is the evaluation of the results for operational stability after the calculation has been completed. In the following, a process is described which relates primarily to the simulation in order to automate this as far as possible and at the same time simplify the subsequent assessment in fatigue strength. The virtual determination of cutting loads on motorbikes serves as an example. The aim is to simulate measured load data from free driving motion in constrained/free MBS and adapt it by means of virtual iteration in order to generate real internal forces in the component.
